Dr. Deb Mashek is a social psychologist with nearly three decades of experience researching, teaching, and applying the science of human connection to complex collaboration challenges in higher education, nonprofits, philanthropy, and corporate life.

A former professor, business advisor, and nonprofit executive, she knows firsthand how messy collaboration can be—and what it takes to align people, processes, and purpose when the stakes are high. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, MIT Sloan Management Review, The Wall Street Journal, and more, and she has spoken at leading organizations including the United Nations, Siemens, and Fortune.

Two random and rather useless facts about Deb: She won’t eat little fish if she can see their eyes and if she repeats the word “orange” out loud more than twice it stops sounding like a real word.
